Roger's Radio was started by Roger J. Hill in 1945 in Hastings, Nebraska. The company specialized in the repair of radios and phonographs. Shortly after opening, Roger Hill began selling quality radios, antennas and phonographs.

1949 - Jim's father purchased the first Black & White television in Hastings. Using a 10 foot antenna on top of a 30 foot tower they were able to pick up KHAS Channel 5 in color, the only channel broadcasting color at the time. THere was so much attraction to the local people that the television was eventually move out onto the front porch of the home. There were so many people interested Hasting's police department was dispatched to direct traffic. Jim Hill was four years old.

The 1960s and 1970s were growing years for Roger's TV and Radio. The company outgrew several locations in this period, and the name was changed to Roger's, Inc. The business moved to their current location at 1035 S. Burlington in 1975.

Current owner, Jim Hill is proud that his father founded the business on quality service. This tradition has been the backbone of Roger's, Inc. for over 61 years. Roger's Inc. is very proud to be the only independent appliance and electronics dealer in Hastings that has a complete service department in-house.
